We glorify God by acknowledging His giving character and expressing our gratitude.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

From 2 Corinthians 8:9, we learn that God’s giving is:

1.  An expression of His grace (For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ…)
2. Extravagantly generous (…that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor…)
3. Expressly for our good (…for your sakes…that you through His poverty might become rich)

Key Verse:  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16
