In this episode, Zach Shaw and Steve Lorenz recap the Michigan football team’s win over Connecticut, and also zoom out and take a look at the Wolverines after their three non-conference games.

They open with a look at Michigan’s offense, and what has looked good as well as what the Wolverines can improve upon. They dig into Michigan’s downfield blocking, passing versatility and breadth of playmakers. They consider how the Wolverines have fared running up the middle as well as in the pass-blocking department.

In the second half of the episode, the two take a turn at the defensive side of the ball. They consider Michigan’s secondary, and how it has improved over the course of the season, and may even be more athletic than last season. They also look at Michigan’s pass-rushing potential moving forward, among other topics along the defensive line.

Finally, the two close with a discussion on how opponent-neutral Michigan’s dominant play has been, and consider the Wolverines’ completeness as a team compared to some other teams looming on Michigan’s schedule.
