A Baby Dedication service provides an opportunity to publicly commit to raising children to know and love Jesus Christ. It is also an opportunity for the church to commit to doing everything it can to support parents in one of life's greatest challenges. The Bible teaches that children should be trained in the way of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6) and this serves as a reminder that with God's help, the church and parents form a hedge of protection around our children.
