After the latest group of migrants arrived in LA this week, this time out of Texas, Governor Gavin Newsom has said he's begun working with a Texas Sheriff to quote "compare notes" when it comes to possibly bringing criminal charges against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for a similar incident.

This latest development is bringing increased attention to the question of whether or not a prosecution for these events is even in the cards.
