When 34 year old Alberta Jones was murdered, she was just getting started. She was one of the first black women to pass the Kentucky bar. She helped thousands of black voters register and learn to vote. She marched on Washington. Her case went cold fast, but is still active and is on the FBI list of unsolved cases under the Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crime Act.
