BLUE BEETLE WAS PRETTY GOOD | Blue Beetle Movie Review | Minor Spoilers| ComingThisSummer

The first installment of the DCU has arrived, Blue Beetle, starring Xolo Marinduena, George Lopez, and Susan Serandon, in an origin story, that harkens back to the days of early MCU, maybe even pre-mcu, with homages to Raimi's Spider-Man sprinkled in for long time fans of comic book movies. In a film where everything feels a bit too convenient for the sake of moving the plot forward, there are plenty of moments that offer up cool action moments, and fight scenes when the main hero is actually in costume. When our main character Jaimie Reyes is not suited up as the Blue Beetle the heart really comes through in this movie in the form of his family who truly make the movie fun and enjoyable, every cast member involved seems to be having a blast making the movie and that really comes through when watching that you can't help but enjoy yourself too.
