On Sept. 29, we held our second annual Manitoba Podcast Festival at the Park Theatre.
This year’s event was a big success, in part, because of the networking format we set up, which allowed podcasters, listeners, and everyone else to meet and share with local creators in every possible genre.
This episode is a compilation of some of the conversations I had over the course of the afternoon with some of the participants, including (in chronological order): Travelling Minds, Echo Podcast, 2 Baked Girls, Thick & Sweaty, Koj-B Films, This Ain’t Babysittin’, Beaver Does Movies, and CKUW’s Behind the Curtain.
These, of course, were only a few of the many podcasters at the event, and we’re hoping to build on the festival’s momentum with events throughout the year.
