Episode • Jul 26, 2022 • 50m

My guest on the show for today is Rachel Jay. She has gone through a lot in transitioning from being an actor to being a health and wellness coach. Sometimes she doubted herself about the decision since acting was her identity since she was ten but managed to emerge victorious. Rachel has been in the health and wellness industry for over ten years. She holds a post-grad master's coaching qualification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a host of certifications across various health, wellness and fitness disciplines.

In this episode, Rachel shares her experience in working with Delta Goodrem at the age of ten, the challenges of being an actor, the experience of film auditions, and the most challenging thing with the career transition from being an actor to being a health and wellness coach. She also talks about her biggest breakthrough in the health and fitness field and the common trends in people living suboptimal life.

Rachel reminds us that if you are struggling with an identity crisis or to let go of a career and the transition to a new career, it is important to reassure yourself that life is full of new chapters, and you should not wrap your identity and worth on what you do for work and instead focus on what you bring to this world as a human being.
