#67 Journaling With Dr Kari-Claudia Allen
"Dr. Kari-Claudia Allen is a board-certified family medicine physician, motivational coach, lecturer, author, and community activist. She attended the Historically Black University, North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC and obtained her MD and Master of Public Health at Boston University School of Medicine in 2013. She completed her residency training at the Prisma Health-University of South Carolina Family Medicine Residency Program, where she currently serves as the Associate Program Director.
Her interests include maternal-child health, antiracism and mindfulness.
Dr Allen published her first book “Envision: A Vision Journal on Loving Yourself Whole” in December 2020. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and serves on various community boards in Columbia, South Carolina.
