SMMS #317 - When it comes to social media content creation one of the main goals is to build an audience. However, many will create content for their social media pages without any thought to how their audience/potential audience members may react to the content. They tend to create content for themselves when in reality this is the complete opposite of what they should be doing as they aren't the ones consuming the content.
That's why in today's Social Media Marketing School I wanted to highlight the importance of understanding how your audience may react to your content. What is it exactly that your content is providing them with? Is your content providing them with their definition of value? And, that's why I wanted to share the 4 types of content you should be creating if you want to grow an audience on social media (but from the perspective of your audience member).
