The story of Jesus washing the feet of the disciples is famous for its depiction of a master who humbles himself to serve his followers; however, there is a great deal more to this story than simply a moral lesson. Jesus is teaching the disciples an essential spiritual truth, without which they would never find the blessing of God. It's not about feet.
