Newsom faces tough balance to manage relationship with Trump administration

Governor Gavin Newsom is in the nation's capital, where he plans to meet with President Trump to discuss federal aid for the Southern California fire victims.
The trip comes a day after the legislature wrapped up a special session where it approved 50 million dollars in funding to Trump-proof the state.
And yet, the president seemed friendly with the governor when they appeared together in Southern California on January 24.
