Sayfullo Saipov, the man who killed eight people while driving a truck onto a Manhattan bike path in 2017 is sentenced to life in prison, New Jersey's Attorney General Matt Platkin is taking a school district to court over a new policy concerning LGBTQ kids and teens.
And finally, Daniel Penny, the man charged in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely on a subway, has received over $ 2.5 million of support through his legal defense fund. The 24-year-old Marine veteran was charged with 2nd degree manslaughter by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
