When you have something to aim for, it gives you direction to look to. Then your able to focus your energies on hitting the target set forth. In business, a company has a certain product or service they offer. It’s not for everyone, they are only looking for their target audience. Which is the demographic of people that are most likely interested in that product or service and willing to pay for it. Mercedes Benz is a brand known for luxury vehicles. It is available for everyone, but they are looking only for a certain group of individuals that are looking for their product and can afford it. Making a perfect match.
In life what are you aiming for? Is it to start a new career, get back in school, save $10,000 this year, pay off all your debt. When you have a target, it is specific and the more detail you are, the easier it is to obtain that goal. What does the work look like when you have a target? I’m going to take the example of saving $10,000 in one year. ($10,000 year / 12 months / 4 weeks / 7 days) That’s approximately saving $833.33 a month, $208 a week, and $30 a day. You need to evaluate how you manage your finances and pay yourself $30 dollars a day. What area can you cut back on spending that you know your wasting? List all the reasons why you want to save this amount of money. Ask yourself do I need to pick up another part-time job to reach my target? Do whatever it takes to exactly have a clear-cut plan to follow. [Ex. I make $3,703 a month after taxes or $1,851.5 bi-weekly. I pay myself first than I budget my expenses after. So, I give myself ($833.33/2) $416 to put in my saving account every two weeks.] When you plan the work next you work the plan. Let’s hit our targets.
