Drag has gone mainstream. Drag queen story hours are popping up in libraries across the country, RuPaul’s Drag Race just won an Emmy, and so did actor Billy Porter for his role in the drag-drama, Pose. But one group from Atlanta aims to keep drag’s edge. Their most recent event, SUCKAPUNCH! Drag Wrestling, involed performers dressing up in drag and facing off in well-choreographed smackdowns.
