More than ever by Emily Atef, screening at the 75th Festival de Cannes in Un Certain Regard, is Gaspard Ulliel’s last film and it’s about a woman, Hélène’s journey to finally understand how she wants to live the last moments of her life, her final breath of fresh air in this world. The protagonist is Vicky Krieps and she was the one who brought Ulliel on board of the project, in the role of her on-screen husband.
More than Ever: Hélène and Mathieu have been happy together for many years. The bond between them is deep. Faced with an existential decision, Hélène travels alone to Norway to seek peace, an act that will test the strength of their love.
