Oxford Drug Design set to help advance new treatments for CF lung infections

Oxford Drug Design has received £466,000 from the Cystic Fibrosis Antimicrobial Resistance Syndicate’s £3 million Collaborative Discovery Programme, funded by LifeArc, to develop new treatments targeting bacterial infections in Cystic Fibrosis patients using AI technology.

Southampton’s National Oceanography Centre trials low-carbon fuel

On World Maritime Day, Southampton’s National Oceanography Centre marked the occasion by successfully trialing fossil-free marine diesel made from hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) on two of its Royal Research Ships, James Cook and Discovery.
