in comment to the predictions in 2022. fell short of the 50k nodes projection. according to amboss nodes :17,739 Channels: 78,507 Capacity: 5,550.3 BTC long way to go

In april 2023 only a few exchanges added LN. kraken the major exchange to added it but the big boys still ignore it. cash app added it as well but it’s very clunky

it’s 2023 capacity is now 5,549.16 BTC. still hard to do a 1 BTC payment on Lightning

I could never get Lightning Loop to work for me. I used boltz a few times and it worked well.
