Apply firm pressure again to make sure the adhesive squeezes out. The bond will be at 50% strength after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and 100% at 72 hours. In addition to shapes, there are also different thicknesses and firmness to the foam - up to 1.6mm thicker foam will be able to conform to rougher uneven surfaces but now the foam itself has some flexibility. Some VHBs can handle high or low temperatures for outdoor or industrial uses. For electronics and robotics, it can be great for attaching displays, mounting sensors, or making enclosures screw-less.
