Today at the book black Labor White Wealth by Dr Claud Anderson.  One long-held false belief is that the racial wealth gap was created through hard work. By breaking down the work of Dr. Anderson, I will explain why hard work is virtually meaningless if it is not accompanied by an access to capital.  Also, unlike what we have learned in school, black people have worked harder than anyone else in America when it comes to building his country.  So until reparations are paid for all of the hard work of black people of the past, It will be extremely difficult to overcome the racial wealth gap that exist in America.  Another factor in the racial wealth gap is a Lack of access to capital for black owned businesses.  Tonight we also talk about the myth of the hard working immigrant and why this comparison to other ethnic groups makes it more difficult for black people to be recognized for our economic and political contributions to the country.
