Today we discuss "the art of de-escalation" and how communication can prevent life circumstances from getting to the point where it requires de-escalation. Moreover, we examine the importance of getting to the root cause of the stressful situation at hand.
Also - we ask ourselves difficult questions such as:
If you prefer to eat the proverbial shit sandwich, what are you *doing* to cope with these situations that require de-escalation in a healthy, positive, and beneficial way?
How are we creating an environment in our own lives that allows us to respond to these situations instead of letting life circumstances control us?
