PODCAST | Matteo Ghidoni interviews Salvatore Esposito, actor of the film Gomorra.
In Los Angeles Salvatore Esposito speaks about the importance of celebrating Italian cinematic art, after 3 difficult years of pandemic. “It’s an honor for me to be here and it’s wonderful to be able to be breathe, in company, talking about good movies, after al we have been trough”. Esposito also wanted to make a special appeal for peace: “War is crazy and stupid, but after a pandemic this war in Ukraine seems crazier than ever. I hope that European countries will be able to stop this crazy conflict”.
Filming Italy celebrates its 7th edition in Los Angeles. Italian and international celebrities reunited at the Harmony Theater to celebrate Italian art and to send a message of peace to the world, in a year that will, hopefully, start a resurrection for movies, art and creativity, leaving the pandemic behind. “To become Gennaro (Savastano) I worked really hard, to make him as real as possible. I didn’t take inspiration from a specific single person, but from a series of situations I am aware of”.
