We talk. We drink. We movie
From Kestrin Pantera: It's very odd to be promoting anything in the middle of a catastrophe. But apparently our little film speaks to the struggles this world is facing at this very point in time. When I started writing and directing Mother's Little Helpers, which premiered at SXSW, I had no idea my personal story of a family trapped in their childhood home, struggling with the identity of their "boomer" parent, would become the great 2020 nightmare we are all living today. But here we are. We made a film that's accidentally more relevant than we ever meant it to be. A film about surviving isolation with your family while dealing with grief in humorous and unexpected ways. It comes out May 5th-- just in time for Mother's Day. We had a theatrical release planned with Alamo Drafthouse in LA/NYC along with cities nationwide. Instead we opted to pivot and go digital, given the new world we are all apparently living in now. Mother's Little Helpers will be available On Demand everywhere including iTunes, Amazon along with all cable providers.
