The Petit family was living an idyllic life in an idyllic Connecticut town until a trip to the local grocery store one evening in the Summer of 2007. The family was spotted by a man with ill intentions and stalked all the way home. Later, they endured a horrific night of terror. This case is also known as the Cheshire Murders as the beloved family's untimely murder effected the town of Chesire, CT deeply.
