Welcome to the final episode of Season 1 here at Beautiful Second Act!
In Part 2, of The Shift Within Me, I speak about how we all have had difficulties, tragedies, or some kind of loss by the time we've reached midlife. It's unavoidable. But it is in how we deal with the loss, or situation that make s the difference. By looking for the lesson we find growth as humans.
This shift I talk about, is different for each of us and comes at different times. Some people won't be lucky enough to get it. I am encouraging you all to find your true selves, your life's purpose, and to be brave enough to pursue it no matter how scared you are that others won't approve. If you expect others to accept you for who you truly are, then you must first accept yourself and acknowledge yourself.
In order to live your life on your terms, find out what you are passionate about. The late, (and beautiful), Dr. Wayne Dyer said that when we live with enthusiasm, we are living our life's purpose. Listen to the still, small voice inside you and don't dismiss it.
The prayer from Gabrielle Bernstein I quote twice in this episode is one that I've adopted as my own each day. Please follow her for more of these extraordinarily inspirational prayers. You can listen to her podcast, or simply go to gabbybernstein.com for all things Gabby.
