The Akron RubberDucks were all pitching and no bats this year. They have eight arms on my top 10 prospects list for the level and had another three pitchers graduate to the majors who started the year there. It was a reliever haven, in general, though several interesting starters also made their way there. As the season went on some interesting bats were promoted to Akron but much of the year it was a squad of players with low chances of major league futures.
