I'm no expert and I don't pretend to be one, but I do know that every one needs to be heard. In my own small capacity this is what I'm trying to do for the people in my community, whether they have been a victim of rape, sexual harassment, domestic or political violence or life threatening diseases.This week we were graced by having our friend Shadi come and tell her difficult story of being sexually abused by both the police in Iran and later by her own husband.
