BEERS: The guys are back on the road!  We make the short trip to one of Providence’s newest breweries, Moniker, to interview the masterminds behind it all: Jeff Goodno and Bryan Benedict.  In this on-site interview, Jeff and Bryan discuss their past experiences on both the brewing and branding/sales side of the brewery process, and what ultimately led them to create a new venture together. We discuss the start-up of Moniker, why they chose a former auto body shop as their destination, and what they looked for in hiring their head brewer. We also discuss their partnership with Southern-style comfort-food joint Bucktown, their close proximity to a fellow brewery (and recent podcast guest) Beer on Earth, and what’s next for Moniker.

BUSINESS: Bitcoin is rallying back! After being clamped by China a few weeks back, $BTC is showing resilience in the face of adversity. Some believe this is due to the SEC approving a Bitcoin-related ETF (ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF) which starts trading Tuesday. Could this be a wise investment?  In the world of sports betting, the state of New Jersey has eclipsed $1.01 billion in wagers in a single month, shattering the previous record of $966m. Revenue is up 40% from 2021! What’s next for sports betting?

BALLS: Rapid fire!! The Yankees were bounced from the MLB playoffs, and now it has come down to 4 teams; the Red Sox, Astros, Braves, and Dodgers - who takes the crown?  Who is the best team in the AFC?  The Raiders roar over the Broncos in their first game without Jon Gruden; are they legit again?  Hockey and basketball are back, and the College Basketball AP Top 25 Poll is out; our guys give instant reactions.
