Today on Dr Boyce TV, we discuss Jay-Z's verse regarding the billionaires he's created.  The question is this:  what does it mean to the black community when a hip-hop artist becomes a billionaire?  Does this mean that thousands of jobs are going to be created for our community?  Does it mean that black wealth is going to go up?  Or does it mean that we receive the symbolic satisfaction of knowing that a black person has been able to provide for his family by (in some cases) behaving in a manner that is consistent with racial stereotypes?
