It's time for the penultimate episode of Small Favor, and the moment that we really get to appreciate how far Harry has come in his growth as a person. The whole plan the Denarians had come up with was predicated on him losing his temper, lashing out, and being impulsive, and for once he doesn't live up to those expectations.
There's other stuff going on here, too, that has nothing to do with rescuing Ivy. First of all, there's the fact that this island feels so familiar to Harry that he's literally able to predict how many steps there are on the staircase leading to the building where they're holding Ivy. He knows where the potholes are. He knows everything about the place, but has no idea why.
Then, of course, there's the injury sustained by Michael Carpenter. RoShawn thinks that he will be okay based on the fact that we know he is wearing body armor, but is she right?
