Almost one year after Part 2 of Building a Commercial Kitchen series...Rob revisits the commercial kitchen and how this ties into Wayne's suggestion of sharing stories about what's going on around the farm. Stay tuned for Part 3 coming up later this month!
Big shout out to Wayne for reaching out and suggesting that Rob needs write stories about what he does around the farm and share them here. Rob also shares some of his reluctance in discussing the farm because of his limited involvement in all of the farm activity.
Sometimes, working in a "support capacity" makes it feel as though you aren't actively participating in the primary operations of a farm and homestead...but the reality is that this "behind the scenes" type of work is exactly what it takes to make a homestead work.
Today's show includes a brief snapshot of how we collectively operate here at York Meadow Farm in today's show...and this is worth considering as Rob looks at the big picture as operations begin to scale up here on the farm, especially with the fermented food production.
