Bottoms dropped a few weeks ago but it got swept up in our list of movies to review, but here we are! Bottoms is a film starring x and y, with Elizabeth Banks on as executive producer, surprisingly no cameo from Banks anywhere in the film, but that's besides the point, the premise of the movie gives the movie a skeleton and bones, but the overexaggerating and the suspension from reality delivers a movie that falls flat, and maybe if it had been somewhat grounded in a reality that would fix those problems, instead of flip flopping between a heartfelt comedy about high schoolers bonding in a club of their own making, and people getting stabbed with swords and cars and trees exploding with home made bombs?
