Today on The Dr Boyce Breakdown, we discuss the Economics of being R Kelly. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison for highly inappropriate behavior involving women and young girls.
This is a conversation designed for black men, black women and also black families on how our choices impact our economic situations. It is also a very candid and admittedly controversial discussion about how the quest for fame and money can lead consenting adults to put themselves into terrible situations.
I personally believe that the Black community should have an independent conversation about the R Kelly situation that goes beyond the discussions being held in (typically racist) media that often has a political agenda. You can watch the video here.
