Will and Frances get a call from silent film star Lillian Paulette Hasling. Someone has stolen a miniature portrait of her late daughter, and she wants it back. The case seems simple enough. Then the butler is killed, and neighbor is burgled - and the last person Will expects to see turns up in his office. It's, as he says, almost more than his pea brain can take.
