Part 2 of the interview with retired Army Colonel Deb Lewis

If you listened last week then you already know that Deb was part of the of the first graduating class of women at West Point. She commanded 3 US Army Corps of Engineer Districts during combat and was responsible for a $2.1 billion reconstruction program. She also worked on the Joint Staff Antiterrorism Office in the Pentagon during 9/11

In this episode we continue exploring how to handle stressful situations.

We talk about how to be prepared to defend ourselves when we are viewed as a threat, and learn how sometimes when we are in survival "fight or flight" mode we can also end up shutting down, ultimately stealing our potential.

Deb tells us why we should never mistake motion for action, why our breathing is so important when under extreme stress, and how we should respond and think about negativity.
