Washington Has A Few Surprises On Its First Depth Chart
The Washington Huskies are gearing up for their first season in the Big Ten Conference and ahead of the team's first game of the season against Weber State, head coach Jedd Fisch released the first depth chart of the year, which held a few surprises, including Miami transfer portal acquisition Jayden Wayne who didn't find his name among the six edge rushers listed on the depth chart, while former Oregon Ducks cornerback did, listed as a co-starter alongside Thaddeus Dixon across from another pair of co-starters in Ephesians Prysock and Elijah Jackson. Fisch also discussed his growing confidence in the offensive line, even as Landen Hatchett continues to work his way back from an injury behind Portland State transfer D'Angalo Titialii and redshirt freshman Soane Faasolo prepares to start at left tackle in front of quarterback Will Rogers, while defensive tackle Jayvon Parker earned a starting spot alongside Sebastian Valdez and the team is preparing to be without wide receiver Kevin Green Jr. for an extended period of time.
