Patricia Dubroof is an arts innovator with over 35 years experience in
studio, gallery and cultural arts planning. She has dedicated her life to
using art as a healing modality with all ages. She maintains an painting
studio, teaches art classes and consults with many organizations
including The National Center for Creative Aging and Iona Senior
Services. In 2007 she developed the Gallery at Iona, which includes the
Artist in Residence Program and other cultural arts programming. She
is responsible for selecting artists, exhibitions curator, maintaining the
permanent collection, events planning and implementation, facilitating
art for healing workshops, and gallery administration. She is a catalyst
of community building through creative arts initiatives, developing
community sources through outreach programs, inter-departmental
coordination through facilities, day health center, development,
volunteers and social services.
