Pastor Chris begins our study on the subject of heaven with a teaching entitled “Heaven and Earth.” As we seek to frame our understanding of heaven from the biblical story, we begin with the earliest imagery and description of heaven. We specifically study Genesis 28 and a story of Jacob encountering the presence of God at Bethel, and what it helps us understand about God’s intentions to repair the breach between heaven and earth.
