On the show today…
In a new turn of events, Britney Spears has claimed that it was actually her mother Lynne who pushed for her to be put under the controversial conservatorship all those years ago. It’s just one of the startling claims made by Britney in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Plus, it’s that special time of year again because Gwyneth Paltrow and her GOOP team have released their annual gift guide and as usual it’s packed with weird and wonderful things that no real person would ever actually buy. So now we need to talk through the most outrageous things on the list.
And right now there is a big conversation happening around Celeste Barber and Emily Ratajkowski. As part of her popular parody series, Celeste posted a video of Emily that has been labeled problematic and misogynistic. But this conversation is too complicated to be boiled down to just one point and to truly understand what’s happening you need to understand Emily’s backstory and the commentary Celeste was weighing in on.
