Janet is a proactive mental health advocate, educator, speaker, and author of “Stop The Break” who hates the phrase “just let that sh*t go.” She grew up not able to just let her trauma go and eventually broke from the weight of it. That’s when she learned you need to deal with it - not just magically let it go.
On this episode we talk about her husband having an affair which lead to her breaking point even after suffering through childhood trauma, physically letting emotions go from the body, and sharing trauma and inspiring others. We also discus steps you can take to dealing with mental health and unhealed traumas, warning signs, triggers and recognizing when you’re not actually dealing with something going on in your life, and ways we can be proactive about it, and so much more!
