Alabama Football Podcast Breaks Down Alabama vs LSU

2018 Alabama vs LSU

In this episode Tom and Dave from the Alabama Football Podcast breakdown the Tide’s visit to Baton Rouge for a tangle with some chapped Tigers.

Tua is Human

So Tua threw an interception, played in the 4th quarter, and failed to break the 60% completion percentage. That only proves he’s human – one that’s very skilled at the footballing. Tua threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for another in leading the Tide to a 576 yard day against one of the better defensive teams in the college game.

Same as it Ever Was

Under Nick Saban, Alabama has this pesky habit of winning. The Tide’s impressive winning streak against unranked opponents (80), is only surpassed by Saban’s win total against teams ranked in the top 5 (22, most ever). That Alabama should stroll into LSU’s Death Valley like they own the place should surprise no one given the Tide’s 28-9-2 record in the joint.

Poor Planning

Give credit to Alabama’s defense for certain, but don’t overlook the ineptitude demonstrated by the Tiger offense in both their planning and execution. We spin through some numbers and plays that demonstrate, our interpretation, how the Tigers failed to put their best paw forward.

Short Bus

That Alabama continues to dominate college football with a rotating fiasco in the kicking game has to be the biggest running gag in the sport.

Mini Game balls

Anyone can read a headline, but which players contributed in more subtle ways to the Tide’s fortune?
