She is also a sought after speaker and educator for top industry events, and a columnist for two national beauty publications along with her blog DeShawnLovesMakeup. There she share's industry help to her fellow artists 100k and growing.
Her work has been featured in Elle, Vogue (MX), Harper's Bazaar to name a few and she has worked with celebrities: Beyonce, Tom Cruise, Vanessa Williams, Gaboray Sidibie, as well as her work for fashions shows for Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, Philip Lim, & Christian Siriano.
