From the MLS to the international ranks, Michael Parkhurst attributes his MLS success to Rhode Island and the foundation he got as a youth player in the Ocean State.  Last week marked a new chapter for Parkhurst, as he announced his stake in Rhode Island FC, a new club coming to the USL table in 2024.  Michael discusses his time with the New England Revolution, winning MLS Rookie of the Year, Revs goalkeeper Matt Reis's impact on his development, and the differences of playing stateside vs. abroad.  A member of the US Men's National Team himself, Michael also discusses what's likely going on in the USA locker room and what they need to do to stay competitive.   Turning a new leaf into 2023, we discuss what's in store for Rhode Island FC.  The grassroots efforts to build a soccer community in the Ocean State are well-underway!We close out the show with making some World Cup Picks, and choosing our Thanksgiving Football winners.
