In this episode, Eric and I discuss how his family was able to earn millions of points quickly so that they could travel in business class by purchasing different gift cards. We also discuss which of the methods mentioned in this episode are no longer available, and which ones he's still able to do today.

One of the most popular ways to earn a lot of points by purchasing gift cards is with the Chase Ink Business Cash card. This card earns 5x points at office supply stores and with other categories such as cable, phone, internet, and more. Staples often runs sales where they waive the activation fees on Visa gift cards. That means, you could use a Chase Ink Business Cash card to purchase a fee-free Visa gift card and then use that Visa gift card almost anywhere, effectively earning 5x on anything! As Eric mentions in this episode, you don't need a large business to qualify for cards like this. Side gigs such as tutoring, babysitting, UberDriving, selling on Ebay, and many other part-time activities have qualified people for business credit cards, which have fantastic perks!
