Sometimes you know your foverver home when you are just seven years old. J. Lynn Bailey fell in love with Fortuna, California at first sight. Small towns often squeeze on folks as they are growing up, causing them to flee at the first opportunity of freedom.  But not this gal.

With the love of stories and writing in her heart, Jennifer Lynn Bailey decided to stay in this Humbolt County town. She found the love of her life there, became a wife, mother, and has enjoyed an over twenty year career working at the college.  But writing stories never left her and now she's an author of more than ten novels!

I invite you to listen to J. Lynn Bailey's story of how she makes writing a priority no matter what. She has successfully created two series, several stand alone books, all while making sure she has never forgotten the role model that she is for her kids. From the quote by author, Rachel Hollis, "When you really want something you will find a way. When you don't really want something you'll find an excuse," Jennifer knows that what she makes a priority, makes an impression on her kids about following your dreams.

We can all learn from others about following our dreams. I hope you like this interview and if you do, please don't forget to share this episode with your friends.
