We live in an ever-increasingly self-centered culture, social media, the internet, tv, ads, they're all showing and telling that this life is all about "me, me, me" all about the self. Focusing on yourself is supposed to make you happy and fulfilled, right? However, studies are proving otherwise. Focusing on yourself isn't a new thing though, flip back to Genesis in the Bible and we'll see self-centeredness has always been a downfall in human nature.
