Takeshi Kogahara’s Nagita, a nostalgic and melancholic debut film about loss and guilt is in competition at the 40th Torino Film Festival after premiering in San Sebastian Film Festival. The director speaks about the reflection the film wants to promote and comment on the stylistic choices he made.
Nagisa: A young man who suffers from guilt related to his adored sister’s death encounters her ghost in a haunted tunnel. He makes repeated visits to the tunnel and re-experiences the past.
