Makysm Butkevych is Ukrainian journalist and human rights activist who has worked with the BBC and Amnesty International. He felt the only way to stop Ukrainian rights being extinguished was to take up arms against Russia. He was captured and then mistreated during 850 days in captivity. Freshly released, he spoke to Chris Cummins.
