A new journey of The Texas Porch begins! J.P. gets back at it for Season 4 by explaining what the show from here on out will be like (2:20) from here on out and what you can expect (5:30) from here on out. He will heavily lean on you the great listener (6:15).

Much of the episode (15:00) is devoted to God's sovereign hand in his career, from growing up with a passion for sports to his first full-time job in radio (18:45) that didn't exactly go so well to a failed job interview that let was the best thing that ever happened to him ( 21:30). And then getting out of the boat thanks to the advice of a pastor (29:00). 

Getting the Rice job (32:45) was another example of His fortune. The best thing you could ever do (35:30).
