S7E27 Social Media Wednesday - Instagram Not So Basics w/ Heather
Are you ready to take your Instagram game to the next level? Then it's time to try out Instagram Reels! This feature allows you to create short videos up to 60 seconds long that can be shared on your feed, stories, and the Reels tab. And the best part is, you don't need to be a video editing pro to make a great reel. With Instagram's built-in templates, creating a reel is as easy as 1-2-3. Here's how to get started:
Step 1: Open the Instagram app and swipe right to access the camera. You'll see a row of options at the bottom of the screen. Swipe left until you see "Reels" and tap it.
Step 2: Now you'll see the Instagram Reels editing interface. You can choose to record a video clip or upload a pre-recorded one from your camera roll. If you want to use one of Instagram's templates, tap the icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will bring up a menu of different templates to choose from.
Step 3: Once you've chosen a template, it's time to get creative! You can add text, stickers, and other elements to your reel to make it more engaging. To add text, tap the "Aa" icon in the top right corner of the screen. You can choose from a variety of fonts and colors, and adjust the size and placement of the text.
Step 4: When you're happy with your reel, tap the arrow in the bottom right corner of the screen to share it. You can choose to post it on your feed, stories, or the Reels tab.
Creating a reel using Instagram's built-in templates is a quick and easy way to add some pizzazz to your Instagram presence. And with so many different templates to choose from, there's no limit to the kinds of content you can create.
